InnPho’s Flat-Top Beam Expanders convert a Gaussian laser beam input into an output that has a flat-top profile. The conversion is caused by an Engineered Diffuser™, manufactured by RPC Photonics, Inc.
- Spectral Range: 350 nm to 2 μm
- Cross section uniformity: ±5-10% (neglecting speckle)
- Laser damage threshold: 20 J/cm2, 1054 nm, 1 ns pulse
Optimum performance of the apodizing element (Engineered Diffuser™) is achieved when the input beam diameter is 3-4 mm, using our GCE-9.
